Marine Rescue Narooma can now track vessels in distress, or just needing assistance, with the new DV Locate tool. This tool lets Narooma Radio Operators send a link to a smartphone on the vessel, that when selected on the Smartphone, will send the vessels coordinates directly to the Marine Rescue Narooma radio room.
The crew of the Rescue Vessel can also see the same information allowing them to track down the Distressed Vessel more quickly.
